Air fryer steak bites

Cut some roe backstrap into some decent sized chunks, mixed them with bbq sauce, garlic powder, salt, pepper, chilli flakes, onion and a bit of bourbon. Left it to marinate for a couple of hours before going in the air fryer on 160°c for 20 mins.

Served with some saffron rice. Really impressed with the end result, decent crisp on the outside of the meat while very tender and soft. Got amount of heat and quick and easy to make

Looks good!
Venison seems to do very well in an air fryer. I was sceptical at first, but we now cook in the air fryer quite often.

(Ps: Calling the loin a "backstrap" is almost as bad as calling bullets "heads" 😆).

It's the first time I've used the air fryer for it in all honesty but will definitely use it more

😂I did toy with the name a little bit thought it seemed less sacrilege as a back strap instead of saying i cut and air fried loin
