Aku Pilgrim sizing question.

Can anyone advise on the sizing on these with thin socks, are they true or need a size up?

If you are buying the army issue ones they come in M and L widths mind. I don’t know how you measure your feet width but M was way to narrow for me.

M & L widths, and if you wear without the orthotic insole the lining rucks up.

I've always found they're a little tight , the high leg commercial version I go half size up , the military issue I get the L fitting which gives a little more room than the M fitting

I agree the insoles are terrible.

I’m a 7 1/2 for most things. The 41 aku Schwer were just too short for me.

I wear the Pilgrim GTX high leg for work, great boot, feel like trainers. Mine are on their second soles after 3ish years of every day use with little signs of wear.

Size wise, they’re pretty true. Certainly more than other similar boots.
