Alps hunter

Hello dear hunters, I write from the swiss alps. I hunt here in the mountains, chamois and red deer. I usually hunt roe deer in France.
I own only one all purpose rifle, a Sako A85 Finnlight in 30.06.
Welcome to the Stalking directory

Regards,
Glendine.

Welcome!

I’d be interested to hear more about hunting in Switzerland. For example, do the land owners generally retain the sporting rights or is it more like Austria (and Slovenia I think) where the local hunting club has the rights and responsibilities? I know I could Google the answer, but that’s just the starter. A thread on your general hunting experiences in Switzerland would make interesting reading (for me at least 😁)

Hi and welcome. Stalking in the mountains sounds fantastic and very different to the forest and hills work I do.
Roe worth a 30-06 sounds interesting.
