Last week my remaining dog had an unexpected trip to the vets - Mrs DB took him & was in a bit of a state, dog seen in the car as he couldn’t walk (diagnosis of Idiopathic Vestibular Syndrome) & with her dodgy knee she couldn’t carry him in, all of which resulted in her leaving & fee going on the ‘account’ for me to pay later.
Called up today & paid, £100.55 for a consultation & a sea sickness jab, thought his was a bit steep but paid & that was that until Mrs DB comes home tonight & said she’d been told it’d be no more than £75. Checked the bill they’ve emailed me & now wondering if they’ve charged me 10x too much for the injection? Entry reads:
Prevomax Inj 10mg/ml. £20.78. 2mls. £41.55
Now to my maths if it’s £20.78 for 10mls then 2mls is £20.78 x 0.2 = £4.16.
Should the quantity have been entered as 0.2 instead of 2 or am I barking up the wrong tree?
