Hello,
Recently acquired this rifle and pretty happy about it. Started with Sako powerhead 130 gr.
Just wondering if some members of the forum had made comparison of grouping with various ammos for this rifle...
Thanks

Great rifle I have the sauer 100 classic in .308wn, my friend has the .270 s100 aswell and he chooses hornady white tails as the grouping is on point and the price is decent per 20 -£35 a think he pays.
Hope this helps

cheers

I use a 150 homeload know with seria game king head, used some cheap 130's to get some sort of zero.
But Winchester Silver tips seem to be a round that worked well but were old stock.

I have a 270 sauer, its not very fussy, and shoots most things well, I tend to use 130 gn, or 140 homeloads, federal power shock shop bought. with sierra matchking 130 , i have played about and gone out to 600yds on a range, its as still good as an avarage 308 at that range , but sporter barrels warm up, and a group will widen, but about a 150-200mm at that range is pretty good. good luck
