Dover has maybe 8 new barbers too, the nail salon there (my feet get done there as bending is harder now has a sign only cash payments will be accepted, makes you wonder.

at least they will be paying council tax and utilities. every little helps
Not much help if it comes at the price of providing a premises to launder money for drug dealing or other criminal activities. And even where those businesses aren't doing that, if they're cash only, you can bet they're paying little of no income tax. No net benefit there.
