An improved Sika stag plus hind call from ALLHone NZ.
This model has a detachable tube that increases resonance mainly for stags. Hind calls can be produced with it attached.
For more versatility hind calls are also produced blowing the whistle with the tube detached.
Versatile calls; stag territory, single/location and mew plus hind location, alert and oestrus bleat baaaa can be accomplished with a bit of practice.
For more sound resonance for easy stag calls this model has a one part hollow tube.
As the rough and tumble of a Sika hunt ain't like sitting in a duck blind the whistle body and tube are screwed together so there is no possibility of them separating like other calls that use press together parts.
The sound board and wedge are orange parts so easier to see if dropped.
Chanel groove for lanyard attachment with a loop hole to keep lanyard more secure.
Doesn't air lock when wet.
Weighs only 22 gms.
We made many many prototypes before we were happy with the tone. There are some real secrets to it.
