Spent the day today having the back of my Hilux fitted out by Animal Transit Boxes of Telford. I went for the full double drawer, dog box, winch and carcass tray system and I’m very impressed. Real attention to detail, professionalism and a great bunch to boot.

On second thoughts the first time I needed the winch it failed with 100kg of fallow buck half way into the truck. Fair enough I thought as happens.

Called Animal Transit Boxes on the Monday for help. Promised a call back which never happened, chased them a few days later, got promises of a replacement in a few days, nothing happened, now I’m three weeks on a feck all from ATB.

I spoke to Winchmax who were very helpful and I’ve proved the problem to be the radio remote system which I will buy direct from them and fix it myself.

Animal Transit Boxes will not be getting any further business from me.

The test of a company is how they respond when things go wrong.

Hi Robert,

I am sorry you feel this way, as promised we were going to send you out a full replacement winch and control box that would literally be just a swap over which as explained we would order in and get out to you as soon as possible.

We are out of stock and you will see from the Winchmax site they are currently out of stock of the winch we use, but we managed to secure you one from another retailer at full cost to ourselves which we were going to send out to you today and left a voicemail to this effect.

Whilst it may not have been in the timescale either of us had of liked we have done our best to resolve the issue for you, and as it is from a third party supplier we can only do what we can do to acomplish this.
