Five maskless men gathering in Sydney told police something truly unbelievable when they were caught.
NSW Police said the men, ranging in age from 23 to 32 years old, were spotted by officers sitting together in Leppington on Monday morning. None of the men were wearing face masks.
Officers stopped and spoke to the men, who revealed they had tested positive to Covid-19 in rural NSW and had been ordered to self-isolate for 14 days after being escorted back to Sydney last Monday.
The five men, aged 23, 25, 26, 31 and 32, were escorted back to their homes. They were each fined $5000.
