Got another big dog fox on Thursday night, but pizza, beer and wine was calling last night, plus it’s the last day of my little pheasant shoot today, and I’m promised to be shooting all day ( I run the shoot, take a half gun in it and I’ve stood on two drives - fired 7 cartridges for one bird- so it’s about time I had a proper go). So I didn’t want to be sneaking around putting up pheasants that won’t be there by morning....
My lack of shooting serves me right for having three spaniels and too much ‘control freakery’ about how the drives are pushed through....
