Any Gamo Swarms out there?

First I knew of them, thought to ask you blokes.

The Gamo Swarm Magnum is a powerful, break-action air rifle for hunting, pest control and plinking. Unlike most break-barrel guns, it has a 10-shot magazine and a mechanism that automatically feeds a pellet into the breech when you cock the action. It’s a system that greatly speeds up your shooting.

We sell a lot of them, proving to be very accurate, last one I zeroed loved H&N Hornets, very near same hole at 32yds, the magazine system does not like a lot of abuse, kiwi,s tend to be rough on there gear, I have repaired and changed a few, no a biggi, great on possums and rabbits, through the croon we got around 910 fps in a .22.

John there is on You Tube "AAR" or "Andy's Airgun Reviews" and he has tested one. These of course be them .177 or .22 will be UK sub 12ft/lbs specification.

That's quite some speed for a .22 piston gun. What's the shot cycle like?

It’s amazing what you can do with 12ft lbs.
Yes of course, especially head shooting rabbits etc...... and a foot pound is a pound weight dropped one foot....worse than a solid house brick dropped on ones toe granted ha ha .
I hark back to the days of my BSA Airsporter .17 and 59 years ago, what a gun.

Most UK stuff isn't 12 now. As a kid anything sold new with umph was on the limit and nobody worried if they snook over a pinch.
1.5 ftlb below can make a huge difference at such low levels.

Here's two with North American gentlemen so I think this will be higher power than UK specification. So fill your boots JG at "up to 1300 fps" one man says! The secnd video shows the guts of the loading mechanism.

Spot on! Alas not for us "Poms". So we'll be whingeing about that too.
I don`t think we have any restrictions on air guns here.
I shoot spadgers with my .22 using Winchester Z`s 29 grain 770 fps,not much good for anything more than a chain but good for shooting spadgers out the window or back door. They are very quiet, probably quieter than the more powerful air rifles.
My tamed Red Browed Finches would feed on a dish 8 yards outside the door and the sparrows too. I shot the sparrows with the finches feeding alongside that didn't pay any attention at all to the shot.

That's pretty impressive performance with the jsb's 16 grain, both power and accuracy. Not sure if they import that model to blighty but I wouldn't mind one of those tbh. Might be worth another slot if they were available.

Well I am starting to even think why now bother with a PCP is, unless these were specially selected for the reviewer to receive, they are that accurate. For sure getting rid of that bloomin' cylinder and all the refill buggeration of both rifle and that cylinder is beyond price. OTOH those wire bits and monkey metal trigger parts look flimsy and easily got out of order.

$500 AUD here. 40 plus pounds cocking pull suggests a bit of power too.
