Well any ideas on the new scope release form hikmicro this week, will it be a new night vision scope, thermal or multi spectral unit?
Any guesses on the new hikmicro

Hopefully it will be the Goldilocks Alpex 4K.......Not too small ..........not too large but "Just right". I can certainly see multispectral on the cards too.

Fusion is the way forward, but technology isn’t there yet, and would be cost prohibitive.
If you don’t know, fusion is a night vision scope, like the alpex, but with a thermal heat signature overlay, in which an AI programme could create a yellow/red (as ex) outline around the target area that is maybe in the central quarter of the screen, to avoid it being excessively busy on the entire screen.
The potential is huge for variations.
A good, well priced scope; would obliterate the market for existing NV digital and thermal, and possibly set the market player in a monopoly position for quite some time

Yes, but not really commercial nor very good, yet. I used to work for a company that was developing one for the sporting market, but they couldn’t make it work
the problem was getting the AI code to correctly identify the heat sources and only outline them, the tracking of the outlines was not accurateSimilar threads
