A still 150 yard air tunnel range! I use to used one a long time ago, all it was was a good shed and two x 4 foot main drain pipes laid above ground side by side the butts were just a frame mounted within a large blind box with sand and 100's of phone books lol with pull up targets vie heavy Steel covers that were lifted on A frame aided by chains the targets and maintenance was done vie this access point. The targets etc were removed vie this or vie the trolley track to inspect your hits the whole thing was covered in a soil banked . It had day light bulbs at the butts red light in the shed.
To the outsider it looked like a long bank with bee hive boxes on it with a shed at one end. Inside the shooter was only able to shoot on prone on benches around foot off the ground and air flow extraction was vie chicken vent fans set it stages down the pipe it was perfect for load development or just practice .
This was on an MOD site and like most good things ended up in front of the bull dozer.

If you are shooting hard targets consider the necessary extension to the RDA template at the sides of 8-900m per side

I really appreciate everybody's input regarding this, it's definitely been benificial. I'm going to look into it further, regarding the costs and the extended safety zone for hard targets which may make it unfeasible unfortunately. Still worth investigating though I think, may have to consider pulling the distance down significantly.
