Any vets on here??

So far we are to see a vet at parkside in dundee but will take it from there, i thank you for getting back to us and providing advice!

According to their website the vets at Parkside in Dundee are not recognised as specialists. That does not in any way mean that they are not competent. Sadly the tiers of qualifications within the Vet profession are far from clear. If you want to see a properly accredited specialist then they will be listed as such on the RCVS register (link below). Whilst this may seem pedantic, this is the only way to find out if the vet has been trained by a specialist to a high level and have reached a specific standard and passed a rigorous exam process, rather than being potentially self taught with moderate levels of assessment.

Just an update on our collie, we met with the vet at parkside and he told us the best option was to cut the ball joint off on the right leg( this was the offender giving her most pain) so friday past she went in and had the op and i can safely say all went well and so far she looks to be in alot less pain than she was before!
