Bravecto/Isoxazoline "poisoning" or Idopathetic Epilesy in Hungarian Vizsla - any vets on here?

Prompted by another FB post, I thought I would update this post with an update on Ruby's situation after nearly 6 months since those fits. Since I stopped administering Bravecto there have been more more fits. Moreover, unlike me, she appears to have picked up no ticks DESPITE them being endemic in South Glos/Wilts at present. I'm back to stalking and working on a local shoot weekly and Ruby accompanys me to both. I'm well into double figure ticks despite taking precations including Bushwear's wash in tick repellant and Rovince-style treated shirts but not one on Ruby. I did "change over" to Advantix at the vets but have not yet applied any and won't until I see that she is picking them up like me. At best, its looking like she is just not susceptible, at worst, the residue toxic burden after feeding her Bravecto for well over 2 years is still sufficient to work:-|

you should still be able to work with her, although I wouldn't personally breed from her
Not wanting to hijack the thread, and different circumstances... but just to get a professional opinion, if you don't mind of course!
A friend of mine from a local shoot has 5 year old springer, who unfortunately has idiopathic epilepsy. The dog was in good health, and still is in every other way, so at 3 years old he used him for breeding (before he knew about the epilepsy). The owner has done his best to contact owners of the puppies from the litter and expressed his concern about further breeding from them. However one guy that had one of the puppies has insisted he is breeding as his puppy is perfectly healthy and has shown no signs of the epilepsy. He said that he consulted his vet and they were of the opinion that although epilepsy is more prevalent in some breeds there's not much evidence it is hereditary and is more of an unfortunate lottery?! I have no idea about it, but would assume (as does the dog owner) that further breeding would be a bad idea!
Hope that all makes sense!!
