I had my first one 3 weeks ago (Pfizer). I had an aching arm for a couple of days and one hell of a nap later that afternoon, but apart from that I was fine.

My Mrs is 57 and has her appointment this coming Saturday. I am same age with some health issues and have heard nothing. I am not sure just how they are allocating the vaccines.

Ring or email your GP surgery and say you are just seeking clarification what vaccination group you are in. Say you believe you should be in Group 6 and ask if they can confirm that.

I emailed my surgery, asked this question and got a text 2 days later offering a jab the following day.

I certainly won’t criticise you for understanding how to ‘best’ the system as what I wish to get my head around is how the NHS intend to reach those with somewhat less cognitive appreciation of such matters. By which I refer to those who either need decisions made for them due to a certain frailty or have been convinced by the internet that this whole Covid thing is a joint venture between aliens and rouge governments.

If your non internet a lot of modern life is lost to you .Mum,s 80 bless her and has no clue so it falls on myself to sort out ,council,housing,medical ,pensions etc .Its all on line but she,s terrified of it all .Convinced they.l empty her bank account or send her a "pedafile" so wont go near any of it ,a scary place to be avoided at all costs .

Aye, 1st of Feb for the first one and April 4th for the next.
Bit of a dead arm next day but other than that, fine. It was sorted through my employer..
