anyone relaod for a 32 auto pistol

I used to pre-Tory ban, yes. A Webley & Scott 1911 aka "Metropolitan Police" pattern (I think) or maybe the 1909. One the 1911 had a raised fixed rearsight the other the 1909 a simple "gutter" type sight on the slide. And a Colt 1903. Fast powders are best as the barrels are short. So Bullseye or HP38 if such still exist. Or Vihht N310. Anything slower and there will likely be unburned powder everywhere.

In terms of bullets remember that .32 ACP is likely 70 grains or thereabouts and on cheaper makes the bores may run "wide". On American or German makes they'll run correct to specification. Also as .32 ACP is semi-rimmed it headspaces on the rim like a revolver cartridge not on the case mouth as does its slightly bigger .380 ACP brother. So that means you can use a light roll crimp on your bullets if they have a crimp groove or crimp cannelure.

Any advice on where to purchase components in the uk. I use 32 acp for HD and slaughter and normally buy Cattle Killers but they are becoming eye watering expensive and have thought about home loading. I visited all the usual sites but nothing was readily available.

For loaded ammunition auctions are not a bad idea? But in terms of components since the Tory ban is now thirty years past in eighteen months time. Gunshop East Barnet has .32 ACP Remington cases and .30 Tokarev bullets which are 85 grains. So you'd need to be very careful on loadings as that bullet is a full 20% heavier than the factory 70 grain and, in shape probably one third more area in contact with the bore of the barrel.

Have a talk to Norman Clarke in Rugby. He used to have 32ACP ammunition for HD

just looking for advice on bullet and powder choice and if anyone has anything they dont use anymore
To answer your other question I used N310 for 32 S&W long with 98 grain lead bullets and 60 grain jacketed XTP bullets. .32 ACP uses similar fast powders.
I still have the best part of a tub if you ever come up north.

had a walther PPK in 32 ACP, not a difficult calibre to reload for. Straight walled cases last virtually forever.

As suggested N310 powder, I used to cast the bullets.
