Anyone use a Lee Turret Press?

Currently just use a bog standard Lee press on a stand to reload - and TBH it's absolutely fine if a little time consuming.

But as I'm doing 3 calibres and about to get another one, thinking of using those rotating discs on a lee turret press.

Like the idea of setting up the dies and just leaving them in the turrets.

Anyone using this press? Does it work ok or any issues with it?

TIA.

Turret presses are great when you keep several discs with dies already set up and in them, just ready to swap over.
Quick to turn the in use dies round for their turn over the ram.
My Lee one (Bought used) had play in that when a case was pushed up into a die, the disc had some movement/ play to take up before anything happened.
It didn’t seem to affect the finished rounds but I don’t know whether the press was worn or whether some play is normal.
Deff. worth investing in timewise.

I have both single stage and turret presses from Lee. For the turret press I have turrets/discs for each calibre and just swap them in and out as needed. I find it more beneficial on pistol calibres, as complete rounds are easier and faster to produce on the turret press, but having all dies to hand does also speed up shouldered cases a little over a properly setup breech lock press. Much of it will depend on your reloading process.

The Lee set up works well enough and plenty of shooters use them. I use one and a Lee progressive for pistol calibres. Lee are good value but as others will have commented there are better quality solutions by other manufacturers but they come at a price.

Hi folks…. Nothing wrong with the Lee…. Just finished setting up a new Redding T7…. I full length size so it leaves me room for dies for two of the other rifles…. Can keep the dies in for three different calibres at a time. Quick and handy!

I have an old Dillon 450 that I leave set up for 556 as the turret is not removable and I do far more of this calibre than any other.
Currently then have 2 lee single presses and am thinking of getting a turret set up as I do 303, 6.5x55 38 as well.
