someone tell the Canada goose brick joke.
How best to prepare a Canada goose for eating:👨‍🍳

  • Place the goose in a large kettle of water with a red building-brick, free of mortar and blemishes.
  • Parboil the goose and the brick for three hours.
  • Pour off the water, refill the kettle, and again parboil for three hours.
  • For the third time throw off the water; for the last time add fresh water, then simmer overnight.
  • The following day, roast both the goose and the brick in a hot oven (180c) for eight hours - baste the goose every hour.
  • At the end of eight hours, throw away the goose and eat the brick.🤗

Missus has a recipe for shredded goose with baked beans and cheese…absolutely fabulous.
The fat makes wonderful roast potatoes too…
If i was anywhere near id have this ina heartbeat
