Archer Starlight night vision

Ok seems like a really stupid thing to ask but this is all new to me, so went out tonight with a gun that was all set up previously by the old owner, sooooo with the NV off I know rifle hits dead center at 100 yards, so put the NV on and apart from now having to put my face almost off the back end of the stock I can't seem to hit **** lol
. I will already assume I'm doing something wrong lol but any tips or advice would be smashing

I use the starlight longbow absolutely no change in zero when switching between nv and the daytime eye piece and my understanding is yours in theory should be the same

The likelihood is that because you have change head position, and body position, that is causing you to miss.
The archer is a ver long unit, and when I used one, I had the scope pushed far forward.
It is not ideal using it as a day, night scope due to the length as you Mentioned.
I used mine 99% of the time at night so was set up that way and the 1 % I had to push my neck forward.
