Evening all,
So i recently sold my year old Zulus, buyer rang me today saying he cant connect to the wifi on it for some reason, his mates tried it and cant, yet he and his mate can connect to his, i just wondered if there might be something obvious hes doing wrong, or not doing, worked ok when i had it,

thanks.

I've often wondered but never tried it, yet, but try using the phones hotspot function.
It turns the phone into a modem.

Had exactly the same issue with the Arken. Eventually sorted it and it wasn't the Zulus, sadly i've forgotten how. DNT as Sauer says above.

He is a man of many talents. And was a great help in a thread I had going when I was looking for my first night vision. I got the Arken on his high recommendation of them. And I figured he’d see the thread and hopefully comment.

Come of Bruce where the @@@@ are you🤣😁

I was hoping somebody might have helped you sort this out, but here goes:
1. Make sure the wifi on the scope is switched on (Main Menu/Wifi/on) - the wifi logo should show on the display without a line going through it
2. On the mobile device, go to Settings/Network and Internet (or whatever Apple call it)
3. The mobile device should search for networks it can connect to - and it should find the Arken/DNT scope with its serial number
4. Select that network and the enter the password 12345678 The mobile device should now connect to the scope. It's possible that a strong home wifi signal will force the mobile device to disconnect from the scope and re-connect with the home wifi.. In this case move outside or far enough away from the home wifi signal so the mobile device and the scope will stay connected
5. Open the DNT app and the scope should appear in the list of devices (it may be the only device for a first time connection)
If the scope is connected to the app it should be shown with the word "connected" in blue text
6 Once the app and the scope are connected and "live view" is selected, it should be possible to see on the screen of the mobile device whatever the scope is seeing

Cheers

Bruce

Without starting a new thread - how do I change the name of a profile? Zeroed on profile A but previous owner had it saved by pellet name want to change it to my own. Cheers

Im thinking it must be something to do with the dark art of using the app!!
dont know if it works or not as its now some time since i got rid of mine.

To change the name of a profile on the Arken Zulus, follow these steps:
  1. Open the DNT app on your mobile device.
  2. Navigate to the profile you wish to rename.
  3. Look for the option to change the profile name.
  4. Enter the new name for the profile.
  5. save the changes,

You have to turn off mobile data on mine out the phone wing use the WiFi as it thinks there's no internet connection.
