Ase utra sl5

Having taken the plunge after much thought and deliberation I bought the ASE UTRA SL5 before Christmas to put on my 06. Now that I have had a chance to use it and I thought it would be useful to let you know how I am getting on and put up some photos illustrating how small and light this moderator really is.

I am very happy indeed with it. I can shoot the .30-06 (which itself is a light rifle) with one hand (Ie. Unsupported front just using the bipod) and watch bullet strike.



Weighs in at 411 grams

I have used one for almost a year now on my Sako 308. 20'' fluted barrel. It is a good wee mod and unless using a reflex type design, I would not consider anything else as it adds so little length to the rifle.
