Just saw this in my news feed..

Its in spanish, and I havent tracked down an English source..
But essencially someone was bringing in undeclared produce from china and there were contaminated sausages....

Thing is, there is a lot of hype about wild boar and the ASF problem, but in reality the greatest threat is ultimately international travel.

Well if any folks have a wee bit more of an inkling compared to joe public it’s stalkers as some put into food chain.

What the horse meat scandal showed was simple...
Meat costs £££ $$$€€€ whatever your currency is ..... and with austerity etc there is and always will be a demand for cheaper product ..... where that demand exists ...... someone with less scruples than most and who wants to make a coin in said currency’s .... will bypass whatever they can to make a coin ....

My own personal view regarding horse meat scandal is I believe probably the only reason it came to light was because someone somewhere got cut out loop, didn’t get their kickback so whistle was blown... probably wrong call me cynical ...

Even see it in stalking .... people just see ££$ signs instead of a deer .... or that beast = a tank of fuel or a weeks groceries for the wife .
I believe one chap when he tells me the c&@t beside him is even picking up road kill and trying to punt it.

That chicken company that was reported .... a friend worked in there , personally witnessing stuff being returned rejected from one supermarket... no problem relabeled for another and out the door best by dates changed etc

I bet some of the stuff that goes on would make you gasp!!!
