So, no hands on experience here, but just 2p as to why I don't have hands on experience.
I looked at getting a pair last year, and decided to email Peter (formerly of ATN) for his opinion and was heavily suggested not to bother. The main gripe is that they don't have manual focus wheel; they're purely an auto focus system.

I really rate them. Good crisp glass, range finder functions perfectly. And the comfort of the no quibble warranty gives me great comfort, as I can't afford to frequently drop big (to me) money on such luxuries, so if they break it would likely not be replaced for quite some time.
My friend has Leica geovid RF and there is little to distinguish between them. Leica are marginally more vibrant with colours.
He said given the price difference and warranty of vortex, if he were to buy again he would buy vortex
I wouldn't speak ill of Peter he helped me we some kit in the past but I know he's now left ATN and i dont know if theres any "residual feelings" but I'd rather also get feedback from actual users that paid for it themselves
Has anyone actually used the ATNs they have got some ex-demo and factory refurb (!?!) units for just £299 at the moment on a certain well knownt auction platform !
Okay so I went ahead and spent the £299 on the ex-demo 10x42 LRF ATN LaserBallistics 3000
So firstly I still have to say that I'm struggling to get anything else that goes out to 3000m for anything like that money compared to the Delta Titaniums at £900-1200 that go out to 2300m
BUT I've just been out playing with them and even though I admit its the first day and I havent played with the bluetooth etc I have ranged a crane out to 1600m where I have determined that the cab was 1698 and the back of the beam was 1686 or something so very credible numbers (now I need to compare with google earth) but they seem very clear and I dont get what the issue is with a lack of manual focus - can anyone explain more what the issue is
