Wanted: ATV Lantra training course

I’m looking to do a Lantra sit astride ATV (quad) training course.
If anyone knows of one running in Herts/Beds/Cambs area I’d appreciate it.

Or, if there’s other SD members out there who fancy it I can arrange it at a training centre (probably near Newmarket, but open to alternatives) for 2-3 of us to do the training day….. probably work out c £290 each including certificates and training material.

Anyone interested?

Thanks for the info - looks like they run a 2 day course (last one in May 2025) so I will see when they're next running it.
Hoping to get it done before November, so might have to go back to plan A

Hi All

I've found a sit astride ATV course running at Shuttleworth College near Biggleswade, SG18 9DX. It's a Bedford College City & Guilds Level 2 certificate and is on 1st December with a cost of £285 per person.
I'm hoping to enroll on this, but they will only run the course for a minimum of 2 people.

Anyone else up for it? I can send over the contact details and enrollment form.

Alternatively, I could arrange a LANTRA sit astride ATV course in Suffolk, at Explore 4x4 (Thetford). Cost of this would be £590 + VAT plus £37 per Lantra Certificate. So, If we get 3 of us to do the course, the cost would be £273 each.

Happy with either option, just need to drum up some more interest for the course to be arranged.
