Baerskin clothing

Anyone wearing anything by baerskin? Not a brand I've heard of but my Mrs says she saw an advert on TV earlier, they could certainly talk the talk....

I'm after a proper warm fleece-type jacket, with hood. Water repellent, doesn't need to be waterproof. I like the Swazi windriver but I don't want to pay stupid Swazi type prices.

Suggestions?

I’ve got the windriver

My advice is to wait till they are doing a sale or free shipping and just bite the bullet.

The nahanni is class too

Evening Ben. I had this a few years ago. I wanted something windproof but not waterproof so I didn't sweat too much.
I bought a ridgeline igloo fleece which is really good, and only 50ish quid. I was so pleased I bought the ridgeline grizzly 3 smock. Which is very similar but maybe a bit thicker with a hood and cut a bit longer over your bum. It's great, windproof and will stand a shower, but not a lot of rain. The hood makes it super warm and best of all it's silent for being out shooting. The grizzly was about 120. Think there's a few deals about that make them cheaper.
Come round and I'll show you.

Look on amazon for Tacvasen fleece.

Pretty much the same item no doubt made in the same factory but half the price. I've had a couple of them, a mate has one and the Baerskin and agrees they're the same item with a couple of tiny logo differences.

I do also have a Nahani and it's in a different league as far as quality, thickness and workmanship. It also has much nicer well thought out features but comes at a premium price.

I looked at one of their ads on YouTube a couple of weeks ago and am being bombarded with their ads ever since. Even at 70% off it looks over priced.

Yes and it's bloody warm lol.
Have one of there fleece hoodie I got mine over size this was a mistake as I thought it wouldn't be as warm as it is and the hood is large and this part is the only thing I can fault as it has not got a rear pull down draw string nor is it wired around the brim .
But that aside very happy with it out on the boat in the north sea.
