Barnes 50gr Varmint Grenade in .223 Remington using H322 - very accurate

More N540 + Barnes 50gr Varmint testing this week. Per the Viht load data published more recently [post #12 above], I dialled back from my earlier ladders around 26gr.

Loads in the 25gr region delivered POIs as inconsistent as those around the 26gr mark. But nestled in the middle was a promising batch. Only 3 shots, and I have not chrono'd, but it looks like the sweet spot in my rifle may be around 26.6gr N540 and COAL at 2.199". [not a recommendation for anyone else, just my data]

I will now do a ladder at 0.1gr intervals: 25.6gr, 25.7gr, 25.8gr. [Testing in #7 above probably rules out 25.9gr]

24” 1-10 twist … what brand rifle may I ask ?

My search for a 1/9 or 1-8 left handed action .223 goes on ….
