Barnes.

It was only a matter of time, sier4a are another good bullet so I think it’s been brought out by the right company
I initially used the Gamekings when I first started deer stalking before moving to Nosler BT rounds. FLS forced my change to Barnes and I haven't gone back. Bar .22LR, no lead in my cabinet whatsoever.

In my 7 x 57 I use while I still can and have plenty of Sierra game Kings the originals not this new game changer business, and I have Barnes TTSX which I’ve used for donkeys years anyway so for me it’s either or, I’m only using lead one because it’s cheap and managed to get it exceptionally cheap And two. I’m using it as a protest for the record. I’ve also do have enough Barnes bullets to start a small war😂😂

I’m just digging my heels in under protest😂😂😂

Went to the range last Saturday prior to dropping that nice fallow buck with a Barnes 130gr. Re-zeroing cost me a lot of bullets on the range and it pained me to be sending that much copper down the range. I was looking enviously at the target shooters around me using lead. I reason, that I don't do range work that often, so just have to suck it up as a necessity. Rankles though

I don’t do range work full stop, Cant see the point in it!

Luckily for me I have the ability to walk out of the gate and down the field to check zero but even then it’s only 1 or 2 shots , max of 3 to zero

I tested the 300 WM Barnes Harvest load, good accuracy but slightly lower velocity than advertised.

Load Avg Min Max SD ES KE
Barnes Harvest 180 TGK 2896.1 2891.7 2899.9 3.4 8.2 3351.7
