Ian, good to meet you, shame it wasn't as good as last year though.
Enjoyed the Marksman simulator though, and the coaches pointed out a few of my problems, I know the main problem is picking up the gun, I'd be better off throwing the cartridges at the birds
Brian,
This was the first time I'd been to one of these Basc doo's at Sporsman so I can't compare it- how was this one not so good? It was ok as I got to meet quite a few of the chaps & chew the fat.
Trouble is I spent money on a new lightweight jacket for summer stalking & need to keep my head down at home!
Tell me where you're throwing the cartridges at the birds & I'll go & collect them & shoot them! Hee He!
See you again soon.
Ian last year there was at least 7 or 8 stands upstairs. DWA were up there and Farlap Photography, Chris Green, BASC, and others, downstairs was another 5 or 6 stands the Marksman, Landrover(I think)there was raffles and allsorts and the place was heaving with people all evening, and you had trouble finding somewhere to park.
I ended up parking down by the roundabout.
As you say it was good to meet folks and have chat.
I send the dog to get the cartridges to re-use next time
Aha but Farlap was there again this year as well.....you just didnt look hard enough....we were sandwiched between the Rangerover and the Sunseeker.....but you're right.......there wasnt so much there this year and it wasnt so good
