Does anyone have experience of using these for game, especially the green core or the fibre wad ones?
Interested to hear feedback.

@Edinburgh Rifles swear's by them. Punchy stuff price wise from memory.

Think a friend of mine used them a few shoots this season to good effect as well. Have been tempted to take some of the green cup ones out onto a pattern plate.

Trying a mixed slab of 32gr 5 and 34 gr 5 Privilege at the moment on the taller pheasants and well impressed! A rival to the zeniths that seem so popular.

Yes, they recommend them to me & I bought a couple of boxes but don’t have time to pattern them before using some tomorrow. They were eye-wateringly expensive.

I shot 30g #6 and 30gr #5 Greencore wad last season and was really impressed
Coming away from Lyalvale Supreme Game.
They were fine but I fancied a change.

They patterned really well at 30yds in 1/2&1/4 in my side by side A&N
Most notable was the terminal effect
Birds were less often hit and gliding
Not conclusive but certainly confidence inspiring

The wad is a biodegradable and is a skirted disc
Allegedly better seal and good for backbored:overbored barrels

This season I have mostly been shooting the 30gr #6 Greencore Cup
These are in a biodegradable cup version of the same cartridge
Whilst not patterned in my most used gun (Teagued B25 B2G 1/2&3/4) they have been really good

Maybe I have just got better but they have brought down some monster birds
Still missing plenty though!!

Yes they are expensive but for the amount I go through its not the most expensive part of the day

I use the B&P Privilege 28g #5 in my side by side 20 bore. I’m really impressed, and will be using these next season. As per @Edinburgh Rifles ‘ reply, the birds tend to fold up mid air (if you can hit em that is).

B&P are owned by Fiocchi, as is Express so all three brands use the green core wads in various offerings. They are not water soluble wads so do not expect them to decompose in a hurry unless you pick them up and send them to an industrial composting facility.

I've shot a few slabs of their Compak clay cartridges and they are very nice, smooth and seem to pattern very nicely through my 3/8 chokes.

Haven't been able to try any of their game stuff yet, mainly due to local availability, but would definitely give them a go
