I don't know if this is of interest to anyone on here but I thought I would offer it here before I advertise it on other "Social Platforms"!
I have finally decided to pack up my Sea Fishing, partly due to health problems as well as some personal reasons. What I am offering is a Complete and Very Comprehensive Bass and Mackerel outfit, and this is not just one rod and reel, it is THREE Rods and Reels as well as everything else you could need for Bass or Mackerel fishing complete with an "As New" tackle bag! All told the entire package has cost me almost £400 which I have receipts for around 90% of. (The lures alone cost the best part of $270)
The package consist of the following:-
1 x Shakespeare Salt 10 foot Bass/Mackerel Rod rated to cast 100g - 200g. It comes with it's original rod bag and has only been used twice - As such it is in "As New" condition.
This rod pairs up with a Fladen Charter Surf Reel loaded with 25lb Braid. Again this had only been used twice and is in "As New" condition.
1 x Ron Thompson EVO Bass 11 foot rod rated to cast 28g - 85g. This rod has only been used twice and is in "As New" condition and comes with it's original cloth bag.
This rod pairs up with an Okuma Electron Fixed Spool Reel loaded with 25lb Braid and again has only been used twice and is in "As New" condition.
1 x Icon Spin Rod which is 9 foot long and rated to cast 20g -60g. It comes with it's original cloth bag and has been used a fair few times for bass and pike spinning but is in Very Good Condition!
This Spinning Rod comes with a "cheaper" 5,000 sized fixed spool reel which again is fully loaded with good quality 25lb Braid.
The "terminal Tackle comes in a Rocktrail Fishing Holdall which contains three tackle boxes full of lures and two smaller tackle boxes containing Weights, Swivels, Clips and Hooks etc. This tackle bag is spotless and in "As New" condition.
The three main tackle boxes contain over 80 lures which are as follows:- 6 x 26g Toby lures which have never been used, 15 Dexter Wedges of various weights (Most of which have never been used), 20 "Stinger" type lures of varying weight, many of which have again never been used, 24 x Soft Rubber lures for Bass fishing (Many of these have never been used and on their own cost the well over £80), 16 x Floating and Shallow Diving plastic Lures for Bass fishing which cost me the best part of £120, there is also a "Rig Wallet" which contains about a dozen sets of Mackerel Feathers many of which are still unopened and in their original packaging. The two smaller tackle boxes contain a selection of Sea Weights, Swivels, Clips and Hooks etc. Also included are some spools of leader line of different strengths.
All of the "terminal Tackle and Reels fit into the "As New Rocktrail tackle bag as shown in the photo.
I haven't scrimped or scraped when buying my fishing tackle and the entire package is worth close to £400, As such I am prepared to let it go for £175 OVNO. I would ideally like a "Face to Face" sale but I can deliver within a reasonable distance or "meet you half way" (Again within reason - I am based in Rochdale). I am not sure about postage as the tackle bag is quite heavy and the rods would have to be sent in a good sized rod tube so I don't know how much this would cost!
