The German police just seized 34 rifles from an Austrian coach travelling to Bavaria for a shooting event. They were all carrying their guns between their knees on the coach or scattered around so they could be seen from outside and non had their firearms passes on them 
However, there is an agreement in place that no Euro Firearms permit is required between Bavaria and Austria for sports shooting or hunting. They should have been in cases though, bet is was a gang of pensioners
