Range Practise day, Kellet, Nr Carnforth, 9-30am start.


Bring FAC, wet weather gear (just in case) and rifle an ammo.

Guests / new members welcome.

RCO will conduct the range practice, BDS committee members will also be there to welcome new members or enquiries related to stalking , rifle issues etc.

Very good turn out, I counted 20 4wd parked as I arrived and a few cars which must have had a "twitchy" drive across the field to the parking area,,,


Sorry I couldnt stay longer as I was working later, but had the opportunity to send to down range and chew the fat with a few of you.


Interesting COF with set scope power limit, wobbly firing points and gusting breeze made it a realistic test of skill.

A very good shoot, thanks to BDS NW. You forgot to mention the '2 stick' rule also adding to the challenge (I need to line up all of my excuses...!)

Next time I'll bring the wife's 4wd as it is bound to be raining!
