Hi all, I have a 3 shot benelli m2 that I would like to convert to an fac shotgun. Is this possible? I have a slot on my ticket, just need to know if you can buy a mag extension and wich one I should get. Cheers

My M2 certainly came with a crimped tube and I had it upgraded to FAC on renewal some 6 years ago...... took it into my local gunsmiths, Ladbrook and Langton, and they got a non-crimped standard length tube in, switched them over and entered it onto my fac.
The tube was around the £70 mark and gives me the option of adding a Nordic Components extension as and when I might feel the need. Ladbrook‘s didn’t charge me a great deal to do the work either. Result.

When you do the mag tube, it is worth upgrading the charging-handle, bolt-release, safety, mag-follower, and shell-lifter at the same time. Particularly the latter: "Benelli-thumb" is painful..
I got caught by the ‘bear trap’ early soon after I’d bought the gun so it quickly got replaced by a welded one....which I ‘think’ came in from the US. Everything else is as standard, I was thinking about upgrading the mag follower but it behaves as it is, so no real need .

Wow, sounds like the Rem 700 of the shotgun world!
You need more than just the extension you need to remove the crimp on the existing magazine or replace it. That is what makes the difference between S.1 and S.2.
