Best airline to travel to Germany with firearm

Last time I went to Germany for a boar I went easyJet and it went fairly smoothly. Looks like it’s not an option this time. BA want £125 each way extra for the rifle! Anyone have any experience/suggestions for a good carrier? Also what paperwork do you need these days? I imagine the running boar test and also my insurance but what replaces European firearms pass?

No replacement for EU pass, just your invitation / FAC / Insurance.

Can your host not provide you with a rifle to use? Would save you hassle and money.

If your traveling through T5 Heathrow it’s not to bad! Just give your self 4 hours head start instead of two. Also inform BA in advanc.

Yes I think he can. I assume I would still need some paperwork
