Bi pod stud

New rifle came with stud/sling fittings I have not seen before. I am looking at bi pod options for it utilising the existing fittings.
Anyone know of bi pods that use this clip in system? It has a push button to release.
Somewhat larger in size than your regular QD studs

Dont need it the bipod and sling attached at the same time so sling clips out.....bipod clips in if that makes sense. Must be one?

Neopod and Spartan both do units that use that style adaptor but you have to use their bipod

I use a Spartan adapter and bipod (for a Sauer 404) but the adapter slots into the front of the stock rather than below, if that makes sense?

Why not just fit a Pic rail to the stock? It would seem an easier, and more solid solution for a bipod...

It would spoil the stock in my opinion. The advantage of the flush fit cups is the lack of snags when you don’t need sling or pod.
One of my rifles has them fitted and someone has fitted a standard stud for the bipod. It spoils the lines of the stock.

No but I would rather have a fore end clear of anything that might be either uncomfortable or catch. When using the rifle without a bipod.
It is possible to have both.

Is your rifle a Sauer? Salamader tactical makes an adapter for the Spartan bipod. I have one on a Sauer 202 and it woks well

Just ditch the bipod idea and shoot over your roe/day sack if a standing shot isn’t feasible. Once you learn to use a day sack as a shooting aid you’ll never go back to a bipod.

the days of me lugging a chunk of Harris metal around over my should in the highlands ended a long time ago! Tried several ‘fancy’ bipods with weird and wonderful fixtures that would break and snap or this or that..then I realised that hey, stick a set of ear defenders on my roe sack and I can ditch both the moderator and the bipod…life restarted from that point on, a true re-born me
