Blaser magazine inserts

I have recently aquired a blaser 270 (3) barrel with the magazine insert, the insert seems to fit fine in the trigger housing but is of a different design to the .308 (5) insert.

The .308 insert has a small spring loaded section at the rear.

Does anyone know if this is correct or do I have the wrong .270 insert for the gun (R8 Professional Success).

What you describe as the spring loaded section allows less of a bolt throw with the bolt housing for the small calibre cartridge.
