The only reason I purchased 2 R93's was because one was for my brother, same for the R8's. Recently I purchased a 3rd R8 frame for myself with 500 Jeffrey barrel. It can be used with a standard frame however the 500 Jeffrey is better used with a steel framed reciever due to the heavier weight. You`d be described by normal people as " Blaser Blind".. Why 2 R93`s. Thought one chassis one modular system?
As for 3 R8 frames would you like to enlighten us all for the reasoning behind that little story?
9.3x64;I don't Rubbish other brands as many of them are great guns said:And there you have it, 'Personal Choice'
Many years ago there was little choice for new rifles except for the, high end, made to personal spec rifles, mainly ordered through Harrods and cost an arm and a leg.
Then when Parker Hale and BSA started to show up, I went for a Parker Hale and used that for many years and swore by them.
Then Remington rifles took over and I went for them and used them for more years than the Parker Hale and thought they were the dogs danglies.
During the period of over sixty years, those were the main rifles I owned but I did try one or two other makes and have now settled for the Blaser stable.
I still have a trusty Remington .222 and the recent addition of the Browning Maral in 30-06 but my every day 'go to' rifle is the Blaser.
It all boils down to personal choice as not everybody is the same and that is not to say that other people's choice is wrong or rubbish.

I have given an honest opinion.Tim I could never own such a fashionable and stylish wooden blaser stock. Folk on here would think that i`ve turned into a queer..
Our Ian is a generous man, a good coach too. I still have one of his high seats here which I must return to him at some point.
But 40 years of experience Brisbane boy? There`s no fool like an old fool eh. Your Blaser blind for sure. I can see it and everyone else that reads this can see it.. You`d be like an old piece of Blackpool rock if you were broke in two.
Both sides of the fracture would read in dirty savana brown (Blaser) right through the rotten core..
But we do have one thing in common Brisbane. Its my chosen gun for hunting too.
Only I can be honest about the product as well as give an unbiased opinion un like some.![]()

Brisbane your going around in circles that tight im afraid that you could well disappear up your own bottom..
You asked for "facts" and you`ve been given them. Not only by me I might add..
I`ll say it again just in case it hasn't sunk in. Blaser stocks are plastic mass produced and extremely flexible at the fore ends.
If you choose to use certain bipods with these models it will affect your accuracy.
They will flex with very little effort. So in truth there not exactly the bee`s knee`s like every say`s they are..
If you utilize a variety of shooting positions and aids like me to successfully engage targets then things soon become apparent..
No worries sunshine. As a man of integrity Brisbane I neither find the truth to be upsetting or hurtful in any shape or form.
Might be hard to swallow at time`s but you take medicine like a man I say.
It was me who mentioned bipod and correctly not you as you mention in your feverish response.
So because you never use one the problem does not exist with the flexy R8 fore ends? That's why I wrote " facts do no cease to exist because they are ignored"..
