Blaser scope mounting

Hi lads, just wondering about a second scope and QR mount for a blaser R8 to switch from light close up driven scope. Any recommendations for other makes or brands or is it best just sticking to the blaser mounts?? Cheers

I got a Blaser RD17 which comes with its own mount built in for driven Ive found it really good and can keep it in your pocket and switch over quickly!

I think a lot will depend on what type of scope/sight you decide to go for. and what type of mount it uses.

If it uses rings, there are several options, and Innomount is very good. If you choose a rail mounted scope, I think I'd stick to the Blaser, and I believe the Blaser mount prices are about to drop in price !

Oh really ?? Why is that?? I can wait!

They have put up most of the other prices, especially barrels, and I believe it was offered as a compromise, but just something I heard.

A mate recently purchased a third party Mount for I think £300 ish. Shop called him and asked if he wanted a actual Blaser Mount (brand new) for £1 less that the third party one. Funny enough he said yes.
