Wanted: blaser to Picatinny rail

I am trying to cut down on the weight of my 30-06 which at present is mounted with a Swaro 2-6x26 scope by using a small red dot 'thingy' not much bigger than a match box.
However the 'thingy' has the mount for a picatinny rail.
Some time ago I had a rail that could be mounted on my Blaser but cannot find it at the moment so thought if they are not all that expensive may decide to buy another.
I don't know the name of the rail so cannot do a search so can anybody point me in the right direction for such a thing ?
Just spotted the other posts for such a thing and it is called Blaser to Picatinny but none for sale.

Eddie you’ll find that a QD picatinny rail probably weighs the same or even slightly more than the standard Blaser mount that I assume is currently on your red dot sight.

It's the scope that weighs a ton compared to the red dot 'Thingy' the size of a matchbox so if I manage to change it should be a bit lighter. Getting on a bit now, in my eighties :-(

Might be an option if you can translate whatever language this is…several options for Blasers…

I’ve got a couple of these on mine, bought years ago from Bojan Stoyanov(?)aka zruncho on eBay, they’ve always been rock-steady and no problem retaining zero.

Cheers

If you are fitting a small red dot you can use a very short picatinny rail that Bojan sells (no rear overhang), if you need contact information for Bojan send me a direct message, I'll send you a photo later of this mount, it is only the length between the front and rear mounting points of the saddle. I believe that I also have several very short Blaser mounts that are machined to fit a Doctor Optic mount pattern red dot directly, also sold by Bojan.

As promised

You can see the 2 types of short mount, one is tapped and fitted for Doctor / Noblex red dots, the other is available for either Weaver / Picatinny, they are both super compact and sit very low on the gun.

These mounts can be found on the GunStarMount.com website (Bulgaria), I have purchased many mounts to fit Blasers through Bojan of many styles, they have all been excellent.

I'm not sure what type of red dot you are looking to fit or what type of mount you are looking to have on the red dot to fit a picatinny rail but you should work out if it will fit on this type of mount as you cannot slide your picattinny mount over "the end of the rail". I also believe that you can purchase adaptor plates between say a Doctor pattern to adapt to a Trijicon RMR red dot or to other red dot mount patterns, good luck in your search.

Unfortunately I have the Blaser disease, it results in spending a lot of money! My son and I both shoot R8's we own 4 rifles and a total of 16 barrels. I shoot the red dot for driven (Europe) and dangerous game (Africa). My latest R8 is in .416 Rem Mag, heavy but amazingly accurate as always.
