I stopped using any blue spray years ago and have used Derbymed for years.

No wound dressing of any sort should be used without a non lick collar .Surprised nobody has mentioned it
Where the dog can get to a minor wound the dogs saliva is plenty antiseptic enough .Keep the dog off hard surface for a while and let nature mend it .
