Can some one just tell me,why,243 in the head would not do,a boar,or is their skull extra thick, compared to say a fallow buck?
As I read it no. It’s only a recommendation to use .270 as a minimum not law.So if I have an AOLQ condition for all of the calibres on my FAC, I can’t get prosecuted if caught taking boar with my hornet, .222 or .243?
Correct, provided you don’t cause it undue sufferingSo if I have an AOLQ condition for all of the calibres on my FAC, I can’t get prosecuted if caught taking boar with my hornet, .222 or .243?
No but I’d like to watch (from a safe vantage spot)Thanks for that Mike
Anyone fancy their chances with a .22 hornet against a large boar?
Good question. I would imagine if dropped on the spot then no foul, however if wounded and then found out you could be facing some sort of cruelty charge? So if I have an AOLQ condition for all of the calibres on my FAC, I can’t get prosecuted if caught taking boar with my hornet, .222 or .243?
Is it against the law?I thought it needed to be,an elephant gun?
