Wanted: boar near bath

hi all ,

anyone recomend or put me in touch with a boar shooting outfit in the south west , bath direction ?

any contacts would be greatly appreciated

Not at all helpful to the OP, but myself and a few guys I stalk with would also be really interested in boar in this neck of the woods, so there is claerly some demand here if anyone can help out!

I think Ian's boar are in Dorset, the nearest to Bath are the Forest of Dean/Wye Valley boar but I don't know of anyone currently offering stalks since Gerry gave up.

As already said, the nearest boar are either in the Wye valley, 50 miles from Bath or Dorset, about 40 miles from Bath. If I spot any on my patches I'll probably shoot them myself!
You could try a PM to Rick O'Shea. He very kindly swapped one for a couple of Somerset Reds with me.
