hi does anyone go to the tunnel range from Warrington area? .is it still 300yds? I want to do some drop charts on a couple of rifles and want a wind free test. I don't mind picking up and driving thanks Phil.

I haven't heard anything about the tunnel range for some time but the last I heard was that it was restricted to 100yards due to an ongoing dispute with the surrounding landowner. Plus you would possibly have a problem if trying to shoot as a guest of the club due to covid restrictions.
I'm not sure if Gwynedd firearms or rather Valley Arms Shooting Supplies Bangor as it is now, still have a connection with the range but I would give them a call to enquire.
They are not currently accepting membership applications, and have visitor places available either at present.
There were problems with (I think) the Vaynol Estate, who own part of the land that the tunnels are situated in, and refused to allow shots to enter their land (as you may or may not be aware, more land ownership extends downwards sub-surface, apart from some mineral and precious metal rights)
