British Shooting Show 2024

I’m not going as;

1) the OPs post says there’s only carp for lunch and I’m not into eating course fish…..
2) for the reason there being lots of shiny new things that dangerously in some cases I can afford but don’t need… at all….. but I’ll have an internal conversation with myself to convince myself I really do need it….
3) the words ‘show special’ fuel my FOMO, again to the detriment of my wallet….

So I’ve got to put it all behind me and remove myself from temptation …. My mates are going though…👍
 
Contemplated going just to have a look at the Accuracy International AT-XC if there was going to be one there, not sure. Then I read the posts elsewhere about the issues with the AT-X. So not going to bother as not going to buy one now.

(Basically it is Made in the USA and that is nothing to be proud of apparently. Neither is the allegedly non-existent customer service) So there now seem to be two AI's at the moment UK and USA. Again not my beef, but if our cousins have complaints of that magnitude then I will not be burning £6k in the hope they have fixed it. I will stick with my good old British AI AX and save the airfare to Birmingham.
 
Went a few years back, was so busy hard to get a look at what was there, then the cost of entry, food and fuel and likely battle with the traffic on the journey. Nothing I really need, so no not going.

Will use the money saved for a round of clays.
 
I decide whether to go to the British Shooting Show or Stalking Show... Anyone know if the Stalking Show is any better??

WHAT IS THE COST OF PARKING? HOW MUCH IS SHOW ENTRY PLEASE ? I AM GOING FOR THE FIRST TIME
 
However, been told Pulsar will be at the show fixing their products for free, like new lens caps or eyepiece, should that be of benefit to you.
 
Shooting Show - no.
Stalking Show - yes.

Not that I hold grudges but they pee’d me off with their pricing a few years back. Feels like they sting everyone, traders & public so not supporting that 🤬

It’s always been free parking since it moved to the NEC, other option is to use the train as it stops at the NEC, I will be going, if you want these events to continue you have to support them and the Indoor Shooting show is far more shooting focused than the Gamefare
