Browning maxus

I've had one for some years now and pleased with it only criticism as with all semi autos it throws the ejected case some distance. Mine is the 3.5 inch hambers takes the Gamebore Mamoth steel cartridges.

I have one and really like it , no real complaints at all

Remember that when it’s empty you can just load a round in the bottom with the cation open and it will load it for you automatically , much faster than dropping one in then closing it before loading the tube mag

I have one and it’s great. Easy to strip and clean and reliable but you need to do this after a few hundred carts to keep it that way.

Any brownings I’ve had or have, have been excellent I have o/u 20 gauge and the newish A5 in 12g semi auto Fast cycling never had a jam up and easy to clean and maintain
Will shoot any steel or lead load - nothing not to like, as with any auto a decent cleaning regime particularly if your on the mud is essential 👍

The mark one brownings can be had for silly money but a mate of mine just picked up a Mark 2 for £600, very good value.

I have a 3.5" one, I don't shoot 3.5" in it much but when I do they recoil about as much as 3", 3" is about like 2.75", and 2.75" is nothing at all so very soft shooting. It doesn't like super light (7/8 to 1 oz) loads but to me the point of a semiauto is to be able to shoot heavier loads with less recoil so sort of a nonissue. Mine sees heavy use in flooded rice fields for waterfowl and snipe, it has been great in muddy rough conditions. One thing to be wary of is the stock though, they are prone to turning sticky though the issue may be resolved now.
