This came back to me last year after 20 years in the loft.
I have no idea of the model but it was the first generation of 10 Shot rotating magazine Underlever that BSA did and I wanted it so badly having read about it airgun weekly or whatever it was called so I begged for about a year and got it as a GCSE present (9A's I was such a swot and look at me now)
I terrorised every rat, squirrel, tin can and wood pigeon within miles for a couple of years.
Took it out last week to check and it still shoots straight and better than I expected
Decent groups out to 25m shooting off a post or at least about as good as I can shoot anyway
What you get:
BSA Underlever,
.22 cal
Moderator
Original front, back sights and muzzle end cap if you don't use the moderator
1 magazine
3-9 x about 40 scope fitted
Half a tin of bisley vermin pellets
Half a tin of ,177 pellets (I have no idea either)
Some felt patches
Can throw in the sheepskin zip case if you simply must have it but I do have a use for that
What's wrong with it:
Lots
There's a bit of surface rust on the trigger guard and Underlever as I was a messy child and cleaned it poorly
Lots of scratches and dings on the wood, I like to think of it as patina
Moderator sounds loud. Maybe it was always like that I have no clue but it might not be doing what it is supposed to.
Magazine spring is a bit weak rotating the last round. I was very careful to never leave it wound up having read that somewhere. I remember you can take the mag apart and clean and change everything inside. It's probably me that screwed it up in the first place I used to love taking that apart.
Scope is grubby and there's some grit in the magnification ring/retina focus
Cost: let's say £100
I'll be honest, I love it but will never use it and would love it to go to a young person just starting out. I learned a lot about shooting and observing using my airguns
That's why I don't want to put it on guntrader and just sell to the highest bidder
We are sort of in make me an offer territory if you can tell me what you want it for
(Sorry that probably sounds very judgy of me)
Shipping etc.
No idea how you ship something like this or the cost but I can prob meet you anywhere in the home counties
Or you cover shipping
Can do more photos later if you need. the sun is amazing this morning but photographically unhelpful
