Sold: BSA .310 Cadet

Im selling my .310 Cadet and know that many of us on here shoot all sorts of guns, so thought Id offer it up here initially. Its for sale with a quantity of Bertram brass (approx 75, over £2 each at Kranks), and cast bullets. Its an accurate rifle with high quality original adjustable sights from 50yds - 600yds. I do also have a Parker hale 7A rear sight available which I never got round to fitting. It's in great original condition. I use a small amount of powder (less than 5 gr), a 120 gr bullet and it loves targets between 50-300yds. Lots of load data available from the usual sources. Used, as the name suggests, for cadets, mainly in Australia, but was also issued to the Australian army on its northern coasts to defend against a possible Japanese invasion. This is from the state of Victoria. A lovely thing to own, but need to free up room for a new .22 project.

Im sure whoever ends up with this rifle will thoroughly enjoy shooting it, as well as looking at it in the cabinet. I was shooting it from a bench on thursday and getting 2" groups at 100 yds. Not bad for old eyes and iron sights. Those sights are great- fingertip adjustment for elevation and windage ( easier than clicks on a turret !?)
