That’s because the Supersport and Century use the same action and therefore the same magazine…..

I am interested, and just sent the OP a DM, though the photos I have (from the Internet) show a different shape - which is not to say that the magazine on sale isn't the right one. Does anyone actually have a BSA Century with a magazine and can confirm? This is what I saw online:

Obviously, the additional groove on the magazine for sale may be irrelevant.

I haven’t got the BSA Century rifle or it’s magazine but the magazine you pictured is the very same as the one I have here (l used to have a few) it’s the magazine from the BSA Sportsman 5 rifle, so l can’t comment on the OP ‘s magazine.

Strangely, they are advertised only as 'Century / Supertsport' magazines, see for example:

As far as my meagre knowledge goes the OP’s magazine is a BSA Century magazine and is constructed slightly differently than my sportsman 5 magazine and whether they are interchangeable l couldn’t say.

The OP is quite correct in saying that his magazine is for a Century Target rifle.

I could be wrong but the Supersport to me is an air rifle.

BSA made a super sport 5 .22 rimfire (I have one in my cabinet) and later a supersport break barrel air rifle.

The super sport 5 .22 rf magazines are the same as the century .22 magazines as they use the same action.

The sportsman 5 magazines are different and not interchangeable with super sport 5 magazines. The linked advert maxogun.com is incorrectly advertising a sportsman 5 magazines as a supersport/century magazine.

That’s a sportsman 5 magazine and won’t fit the century or supersport, I know as I bought one and tried it
