Nduna Hunting safaris can now offer Buffalo and other Dangerous Game Hunting in Mozambique.
The hunts, which will be in parties of five individual hunters, take place in Mozambique, on a concession operated by a reputable RSA Outfitter for the last seven years. We know the concession holder well and are comfortable sharing the concession with him.
We have only recently returned from a successful hunt there, where Ian Harford, of Team Wild and Chief Pro Staff for Realtree International, took a buffalo bull, sable, hippo, crocodile, common reedbuck, bushpig, warthog and a waterbuck. Our own Gavin Ingram, also took a crocodile and a buffalo. You can see a trailer video at this link http://www.teamwild.tv/video and Ian Harford will be posting videos of his individual hunts on www.teamwild.tv
The hunts are over a ten day period and can be 1 x 1 PH or 2 x 1 PH. The hunt will include transport whilst hunting, accommodation, food and drinks and one buffalo bull. Other species are available as priced. Taxidermy will be carried out in RSA and I am am presently awaiting information on the costs.
Hunters will be accompanied from Johannesburg, ( or from UK if the party wishes ), to Mozambique and back to Johannesburg. Hunters will remain in transit in Johannesburg, so no RSA firearm permit is needed. A Mozambique firearms permit will be arranged by us which you will be given on arrival at Johannesburg.
There are two options for travel from Johannesburg to Mozambique. One is the scheduled airline from Johannesburg, (circa £450 return), which necessitates a five/six hour drive from the airport to the hunting ground and the other option is to charter a private aircraft. The second option would depend on all five hunters in the party agreeing to share the cost (This cost has yet to be defined). The benefit of a charter is that it will fly directly to the hunting Camp.
The hunts will take place between 25 August, 2013 and 5 October, 2013 and need to be booked and deposits paid by 30 December, 2012. The hunt is inclusive of accommodation, food, drinks, transport while hunting, Trophy Fee for One Cape Buffalo Bull, Government Licence, Hunting Licence and Rifle Permit. Minimum calibre for buffalo, hippo & crocodile is .375
A suitable rifle can be hired for £60 plus ammunition used. This would be in addition to the cost of the hunt.
One on One PH £9950
Two on One PH £9650
Additional Game Available
Bushpig £360
Chobe Bushbuck £735
Common Reedbuck £600

If this hunt is of interest to you, please let me know as soon as you are able, as there has been a lot of interest expressed to date.
